Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of hearing aids in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • Take accurate ear mold impressions, manage shipments with vendors, and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Educate patients on proper use and maintenance of hearing aids and assistive devices, promoting optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Conduct otoscopic exams and manage cerumen (earwax) removal, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Document patient interactions and services provided in the electronic health record system.
Requirements:
  • Certification in hearing aid technology, preferably from the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences.
  • Experience with handling patient safety and infection control standards in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.
