Cochlear Implant Audiologist

PIH Health is a nonprofit, regional healthcare network that serves a diverse population in the Los Angeles County, Orange County and San Gabriel Valley region. The Cochlear Implant Audiologist will provide independent evaluation, diagnosis, and interpretation of hearing disorders. The Audiologist will counsel patients and their family members regarding test results and review options that best meet their hearing care needs. The position requires a Masters Degree in Audiology or Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) and California State licensure. Additionally, the Audiologist must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or eligibility and a California Dispensing Audiology license and NPI number. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in Hearing Aid and/or Cochlear Implant programming. The Audiologist will administer diagnostic tests, provide audiologic treatment, and communicate with other care-providers for patients. The position requires strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as excellent organizational and prioritization skills. The Audiologist will work effectively with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor population. Key qualifications include the ability to administer and interpret audiological tests, provide audiologic treatment, and counsel patients and their family members. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and experience successfully managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
