We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team on a contract and per diem basis. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for verifying patient information, drawing blood from adult, pediatric, and infant patients, and processing specimens following established procedures and techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Verify patient and specimen information
  • Draw blood from adult, pediatric, and infant patients and process specimens following established procedures and techniques
  • Follow in-process quality control procedures and maintain related records
  • Remain aware of patient emotional and physiological condition and report abnormal conditions to the proper personnel
  • Perform related duties as required
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Certification in Phlebotomy from a National Organization preferred
  • Minimum of one year Phlebotomy experience or Phlebotomy/Medical Assistant education program required
  • Knowledge of laboratory computer preferred
