Position Overview:

Xanitos is currently seeking dedicated Full-Time Environmental Service Associates for day and evening shifts.
  • Shift Hours: Day shift: 8AM-4:30PM; Evening shift: 4PM-12:30AM
  • Hourly Wage: $15.91
  • Includes rotating weekends and select holidays
  • Evening shift differential available
  • Wage increase after 90 days to $16.86
Key Responsibilities:

The Environmental Service Associates will maintain cleanliness and orderliness across various locations within healthcare facilities. The primary duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
  • Cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
  • Sweeping and/or vacuuming floors.
  • Dusting furniture and equipment.
  • Polishing metalwork.
  • Washing walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash to disposal areas.
  • Replenishing restroom supplies.
  • Moving small equipment or tools between departments.
Qualifications:
  • Flu vaccination required.
  • Experience in janitorial services is advantageous.
  • Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
  • Post-offer medical examination, background check, and drug screening required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

While executing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The role requires the capacity to work in a standing position for extended periods and involves frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses, are essential. There may be exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.
