We are seeking a highly skilled Network Field Technician to join our team at Blueport. As a Network Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Network Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and data communications equipment.
- Troubleshooting and Optimization: Troubleshoot system failures, identify bottlenecks, and optimize network performance to ensure long-term efficiency.
- Customer Support: Provide technical advice and support to customers, including network usage and comprehensive instructions.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors, and report any matters requiring further attention to management.
- Technical Skills: IP addresses, subnetting, VLANs, HP Switch CLI, Cisco Switch CLI, switch and router configuration, CAT5/CAT6 cable terminations and testing.
- Physical Demands: Ability to carry/lift over 20 lbs, ability to climb ladders if necessary, compliance with OSHA and safety rules and regulations.
