About the Role:

Independent Identity is seeking a highly experienced Clinical Director to lead our day-to-day operations and clinical programming. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing systems to facilitate effective clinical operations, creating and disseminating new training materials for staff, and promoting a mission-focused work environment across all team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement systems to facilitate effective daily operations and clinical programming, as well as teamwork and collaboration among clinical and operational leaders.
  • Develop and oversee company culture initiatives, maintain and oversee company staff reinforcement system, and provide clinical oversight, support, and mentorship to BCBA team.
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings and weekly BCBA meetings to ensure collaboration and consistency, determine caseload assignments for staff within the company structure, and support BCBAs as needed in managing concerns and issues with families.
  • Directly evaluate clinical programming across clinical team by providing impact hours where appropriate, complete contracts with Texas Medicaid Waiver Providers, collect and review IPC and initial assessment, and manage waitlist, conduct phone screeners, and complete client application and enrollment process when needed.
  • Understand company policies/procedures and be able to relay, enforce, and direct policies to team members and caregivers, initiate and follow through with correct action plan process when appropriate, and monitor RBT development, job satisfaction, and level of support from BCBA team.
  • Perform other duties as necessary or requested, and perform all duties in accordance with the agency's policies and procedures.

Qualification/Education/Experience:

  • The Clinical Director will hold a minimum of a Master's degree in a human services field, including psychology, education, ABA/autism, special education, or related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a clinical director and in supervision, with experience working with individuals with challenging behavior and adult services.
  • Must hold active BCBA certification and Texas License, and demonstrate strong oral and written skills (English proficiency) with clients, families, funding sources, consultants, the community at large, program and administrative team.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work as a team, maintain positive and fun attitude, and perform job duties with minimal supervisory intervention, and must proactively demonstrate organization, leadership skills, and creativity.
  • Must hold a valid drivers' license, have access to an operational and insured vehicle, and pass Texas background check.

Pay range and compensation package:

Salary: $80,000-$90,000/year, with generous paid time off, company holidays, professional development assistance, and health benefits.
