Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee responsibilities assigned by the Department Manager related to the planning and execution of patient care.
  • Utilize professional nursing expertise to deliver and manage care for patients and their families.
  • Organize and direct departmental activities under the guidance of the department manager.
  • Employ independent judgment in emergency situations and take appropriate actions.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Registered Nurse – Must hold a valid license in the state of Iowa.

Experience:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of prior experience as a staff nurse is required.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary.
