Aspire Nursing and Rehab of Muscatine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our clinical services team.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the overall direction and quality of clinical services, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Supervise and manage nursing staff, ensuring they provide high-quality care that meets or exceeds expectations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet resident needs.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure programs and care services meet the needs of residents.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care and medications, maintaining administrative authority and responsibility.
- Develop and implement the written staffing plan and nursing schedule, reflecting the needs of residents and budgetary guidelines.
- Evaluate current and potential residents to ensure the facility can provide the appropriate level of care.
- Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.
- 3 or more years of DON experience preferred.
- Must meet all local health regulations, including a criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
