Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Ticket Booth Sales Associate. This part-time role will be based in our San Diego Port location and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and selling City Cruises cruise tickets and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Provide friendly and helpful assistance to guests, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure a seamless and efficient guest experience, from ticket sales to boarding.
- Cash Handling
- Accurately process cash transactions, including collecting payments and issuing change.
- Ensure all cash handling policies are adhered to and documented correctly.
- Ticket Sales
- Sell City Cruises cruise tickets and enhancements to walk-up customers.
- Provide guests with information and collateral for future events.
- Operational Support
- Prepare boarding documents and efficiently check-in guests for all events.
- Accurately operate all ticket booth systems and ensure all documentation is recorded accurately.
- Teamwork
- Collaborate with ship captains, event managers, and photographers to ensure a smooth and efficient guest experience.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous Experience
- Previous experience working with reservations or in a retail environment is preferred.
- Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Basic computer skills and ability to type.
