Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 410 production employees to ensure that production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with production associates to ensure that they understand the day's production schedule, key issues, and challenges.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure that ingredients and raw materials are properly stocked.
  • Provide supervision to the production of products during their shift, ensuring that good manufacturing practices, quality, and safety standards are implemented and monitored.
  • Analyze and trend data regarding batching, ingredient waste, processing maintenance issues, processing safety issues, employee issues, and any other incidents.
  • Implement all identified food quality and food safety standards, laws, good manufacturing practices, training, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that production resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, are available as needed to maintain production schedules.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Production or Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of production manufacturing experience required; Food/Bev manufacturing is a must.
  • Three years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of batching and CIP equipment and systems.
  • Working knowledge of food safety and food quality standards and regulations such as SQF and environmental and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
