We are excited to announce a position for a Manual Milling Specialist at our esteemed organization. We seek a talented professional with a strong background in machining to become a vital part of our workforce.

Your primary duty will involve executing Manual Milling tasks on turbine engine components, ensuring adherence to precise specifications for our clients in the aerospace and marine sectors. The meticulous work you perform must align with the standards set by original equipment manufacturers (OEM).

Become a member of our innovative Machining Department, which encompasses CNC VTL, Mill, Grind, Manual Mill and VTL, Tool & Die, R&D, CNC Programming, and skilled machinist trainers. You will work alongside seasoned experts, exchanging techniques and knowledge while honing your skills in print reading and technical drawing interpretation.

This position is based in a modern, climate-controlled facility designed to enhance your working experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Adhere to both written and verbal instructions, utilizing approved tools to inspect and machine components with precision.
  • Operate machinery to achieve specified dimensions, conduct finishing operations, and participate in training initiatives.
  • Identify and resolve machining challenges, document findings, and ensure accuracy in all tasks.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Manual Milling operations within job shop or made-to-order settings.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in machine setups, tooling, and fixturing.
  • Strong grasp of GD&T, critical dimensioning, and part indication methodologies.
  • Experience with rework processes and a solid understanding of shop math principles.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • A technical diploma or equivalent practical experience in machining.
  • Capability to set up tooling and fixtures, interpret technical drawings, and communicate effectively.
  • Familiarity with shop math, basic trigonometry, and hand tool operations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
