Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mechanical Project Supervisor is accountable for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of HVAC projects while adhering to established timelines and budget constraints. This role requires compliance with company policies and all applicable regulations within the operational jurisdiction.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and coordinate project activities from inception to completion.
  • Experience in managing Commercial and Industrial HVAC projects.
  • Involvement in Tenant Improvements, Ground-Up construction, and Design-Build projects.
  • Establish project objectives, goals, and deliverables aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee personnel, resources, and stakeholders necessary for project success.
  • Prepare and present budget proposals, making adjustments as required.
  • Continuously manage project expectations with team members and upper management.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to suitable team members.
  • Identify, address, and resolve project challenges and determine critical paths.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones.
  • Monitor project progress and deliverables.
  • Proficient in various Microsoft and Project Management software tools.
  • Create and present progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, anticipate potential issues, and formulate contingency plans to meet deadlines.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Familiarity with HVAC industry standards and regulations.
  • Previous experience in the installation and maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Proven experience in managing personnel and individual tasks.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities, demands, and timelines through effective problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the HVAC sector.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory capacity within the field.
  • Possession of EPA Universal Certification is required.
