Your Role as a Structural Steel Cost Estimator
As a Structural Steel Cost Estimator at Met-Con, Inc., each day will present new challenges and opportunities.
You will collaborate closely with our project management team, architects, and clients to gather project specifications and assess structural steel needs.
With your sharp eye for detail and expertise in construction materials, you will perform take-offs and generate accurate estimates.
Your daily responsibilities will include reviewing project drawings and specifications, conducting site assessments to determine the scope of work, and engaging with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and availability data.
Your work schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm, with the flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
In this position, you will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, where effective time management and task prioritization are essential.
