Position Overview: The Academic Support Assistant role is designed for individuals seeking to contribute to the educational mission of the University of Arkansas. This position entails working within various departments of the College of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Education, dedicating either ten (10) or twenty (20) hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in teaching, research, administrative tasks, or community service initiatives.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support academic programs and student success.
- Maintain effective communication with students and colleagues, ensuring accessibility through scheduled appointments.
- Prepare necessary materials as directed by supervisors and maintain organized records.
- Respect confidentiality and adhere to relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Admission to a graduate program at the University of Arkansas or maintaining good standing as a continuing graduate student.
- Ability to commit to the required hours with consistent attendance.

- Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written.
