Job Title: K-3 Teacher

ScholarMade Achievement Place is seeking a highly qualified and passionate K-3 Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for delivering instruction in all core content areas, including Literacy, Math, Science, and Social Studies, to students in grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instructional Planning and Delivery: Plan and implement engaging, standards-based lessons in all core subjects that support academic growth and development.
  • Literacy Instruction: Implement ScholarMade's literacy blocks, using research-based programs and resources to build foundational reading and writing skills.
  • Math Instruction: Deliver math instruction that builds a solid foundation in number sense, counting, addition and subtraction, and problem-solving.
  • Science and Social Studies Integration: Integrate Science and Social Studies instruction into daily lessons, focusing on inquiry-based learning and exploration.
  • Classroom Management and Culture: Establish and maintain a positive and structured classroom environment that promotes student responsibility, respect, and academic achievement.
  • Data-Driven Instruction: Regularly assess student progress using formative and summative assessments, and use data to differentiate instruction and provide targeted interventions.
  • Family Engagement: Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, and provide resources and strategies to support academic success and social-emotional development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Valid Arkansas teaching certification in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in K-3 classrooms, with a focus on early literacy and numeracy development.
