Huron Consulting Group Inc. is a leading provider of management consulting services to the healthcare industry. We help our clients drive growth, enhance performance, and sustain leadership in the markets they serve.

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consulting Director to join our ranks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading complex performance improvement engagements, creating collaborative and high-performing work environments, and ensuring successful client outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading teams, creating customized solutions, and communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders. They will also possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain professional networks and identify business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct teams in the delivery of complex performance improvement engagements
  • Create collaborative and high-performing work environments
  • Develop and implement customized solutions to achieve client business objectives
  • Build and maintain professional networks and identify business development opportunities
  • Contribute to the professional development of Huron staff in project management and technical dimensions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8-10 years of consulting and/or healthcare operations experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills aligning to Huron's core values and competencies
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written – and the interpersonal skills needed to quickly establish relationships of trust and collaboration
  • Ability to travel every week up to 80% and work extended hours as needed
Preferred Experience
  • Relevant hospital revenue cycle experience directing a department and/or team-based projects with a focus on process re-engineering/performance improvement initiatives and change management
  • Project leadership and workplan management experience within a consulting firm setting with a focus on hospital or physician revenue cycle, denials management, or patient access services
Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this job is $170,000 - $215,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $212,500 - $290,250.
