Position Title: Pharmaceutical IT Support Specialist
Industry: Professional Services

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical assistance to end users through various communication channels including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Oversee and uphold desktop security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
- Work collaboratively with IT teams to swiftly resolve technical challenges.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all support activities and ensure records are current and accurate.
- Educate end users on new hardware and software applications, ensuring effective utilization.
- Provide support for laboratory computers and equipment as part of end-user computing responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of desktop support experience within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Proficient in Windows operating systems (XP, 7, 10) and software applications, particularly the MS Office suite.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with IT hardware and software, including system imaging.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting, SCCM patching, Active Directory, antivirus solutions, and Linux (preferred).
- Expertise in Windows 10 deployment and involvement in OS migration initiatives.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and experience with ServiceNow.
- Must be available for onsite responsibilities.
