Location: Various construction sites within a 300-mile radius of Waco, TX.

Position Summary:

As a Field Welder at Texas Welding Company, you will be integral to our welding operations at various construction sites. Reporting directly to the Field-Welder Team Lead, your role will involve executing welding assignments in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. This position necessitates significant travel during the week, with accommodations arranged by the company, allowing weekends to be spent at home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct welding tasks under the supervision of the Field-Welder Team Lead.
  • Adhere to welding protocols and specifications to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Effectively and safely operate welding machinery and tools.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve efficient completion of welding projects.
  • Meet project timelines and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to the Field-Welder Team Lead.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the welding field.
  • Experience working on construction sites is advantageous.
  • Proficient in various welding methods (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively during the week.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
