We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team at CenterWell Senior Primary Care. As a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role

The Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, including:

  • Discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signs
  • Administering medications and vaccines
  • Collecting specimens and performing diagnostic screening tests
  • Maintaining examination rooms and documenting information into the electronic medical records system

You will work closely with physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver high-quality patient care and make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A successful completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR certification
  • Hands-on professional phlebotomy experience with blood draws, etc.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to pass a proficiency exam
Preferred Qualifications

We also welcome applicants with:

  • Certification or registration as a medical assistant
  • Experience with medication and vaccine administration
  • One year of medical assisting experience
  • Knowledge of value-based care, including HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS patient experience
