Senior Customer Success Engineer for Enterprise Clients

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Success Engineer to enhance the success of Procore's Enterprise clientele. In this position, you will act as the product advocate for Procore and function as a subject matter expert.
Your success in this role will be measured by the customer's ability to adopt and achieve significant business performance improvements from their investment in Procore.
You will play a vital role in enhancing the operations of our construction clients by connecting them through a global platform.
As a proficient Customer Success Engineer, you will assist organizations in understanding best practices related to construction technology and solutions, along with the numerous business advantages they can offer.
In this role, you will utilize your consultative mindset and expertise in the construction sector and Procore's software solutions to provide clients with crucial recommendations on how to maximize the value of their Procore technology and identify additional products that may benefit them.
You will work closely across various functions with Sales, Professional Services, Support, Product, and Marketing. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about both construction and technology.
This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or from designated Procore offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide data-driven insights to customers on optimizing the value of Procore, utilizing customer analytics and industry best practices.
- Create value-oriented presentations that address customer challenges and facilitate the adoption of the Procore platform.
- Share product roadmap and release updates with customers to ensure they benefit from our cutting-edge technology.
- Engage in product demonstrations and coordinate various technical resources, both internal and external.
- Act as a technical account manager, delivering exceptional responsiveness and customer service through clear and effective communication.
- Promote a positive team culture by supporting and mentoring fellow team members.
- Collaborate with all levels of the Procore organization to establish best practices and propel Procore's growth as a market leader.
- Attain a deep understanding of Procore's products, professional services, and industry best practices.
- Be prepared for up to 50% travel to client locations, industry events, and other Procore offices.
Qualifications:
- A strong passion for construction and technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science preferred.
- Over 8 years of experience in Customer Success, Professional Services, or Technical Pre-Sales.
- More than 8 years of expertise in the construction industry is preferred.
- Ability to leverage strong technical skills to master Procore's product offerings, business model, services, and emerging technologies.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders on time-sensitive projects.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both in-person and virtually, as well as in writing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to distill relevant and impactful insights from complex data.
- Experience as a technology advocate and promoter of modernizing the construction industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with various construction industry sectors (general contracting, subcontracting, real estate development, etc.) is a plus.
- Previous roles as a construction Project Manager, Site Supervisor, Project Finance Manager, Estimator, or Project Engineer are preferred.
- Experience in managing construction projects, including bidding, procurement, RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, documents, schedules, quality control, and safety is preferred.
- A positive energy source in a dynamic, diverse, and forward-thinking environment.
- Experience related to top ENR construction firms and/or Fortune 500 companies is preferred.
