We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Southern Regional Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, ensuring the highest level of care and safety.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel, maintaining standards of care in the ICU.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
