Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Coordinator to join our team at S.P. Richards Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, implementing, and maintaining standard, promotional, and custom contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and administer contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Formulate and coordinate contract proposals for Upper Level Management and Sales Representatives.
  • Work closely with DC Management and Sales Representatives to formulate contract price bids and profitability.
  • Evaluate and monitor contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts.
  • Update contract pricing to reflect new manufacturer cost information and review contract margins on a regular basis.
  • Communicate contract changes to division vice presidents, division administrators, distribution centers, and sales representatives via memos, email, and bulletins.
  • Assist with spreadsheet and analytical projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and effectively present information to Upper Level Management.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Spreadsheets.
  • Microsoft Access a plus.

Work Environment:

The work environment is moderate with occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this job include sitting, using hands and fingers to handle objects, reaching with hands and arms, and talking or hearing.
