Job Overview

The position of Test Technician is a crucial role within our contract manufacturing environment, supporting various processes across the floor. Under the guidance of Test Engineers and Managers, this individual will contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing of products for safety, capacities, compliance, and performance.
  • Investigate specific aspects and components of products in question, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Publish reports on findings and testing data gathered, providing actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss test results and implement changes as required.
  • Maintain lab and testing equipment, ensuring optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an AA degree or certificate from a technical school, or at least 2 years of experience in lieu of an academic degree.
  • Direct experience working in automated assembly involving processes such as SMT, through hole, adhesive dispense, automated assembly, and ultrasonic welding.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with optimizing processes and automated equipment, as well as the ability to support engineers in multiple projects and tasks.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/carry 40 pounds and perform tasks that require bending, stretching, and reaching.
