Power Shift Emergency Medical Technician

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our Power Shift Program. As an EMT with DocGo, you will be responsible for providing top-tier patient care and transportation services to medical facilities. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and a commitment to working a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with fellow EMTs and management to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Be flexible and adapt to changing shift schedules, as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock.
- Stay up-to-date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses, and all certifications, licenses, and registrations.
- Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when interacting with patients, coworkers, supervisors, and the public.
- Recognize and treat medical conditions with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of state and county protocols.
- Provide top-tier medical transport to medical facilities by assuming responsibilities for patient care and carrying out established policies and procedures.
- Operate and drive the ambulance in accordance with safety policies and laws, showing due regard for all applicable state and regional regulations.
- Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.
- Gather patient billing information and obtain necessary billing signatures.
- Prepare and submit pre-hospital patient care reports.
- Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to perform additional duties and meet additional requirements to qualify and remain in the Power Shift Program.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- PA EMT State Certification (minimum).
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record (must have had driver's license for a minimum of 2 years).
- Valid CPR Card for the Health Care Provider.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs. or more.
- Must meet the Power Shift Program requirements to qualify and remain in the Power Shift Program.
- $7,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employees.
- $8,000 sign-on bonus for full-time military veterans.

- Built-In Overtime (Power Shift overtime hourly rate is $45 per hour).
