We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our dynamic team at VMSC Emergency Medical Services. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Provide basic life support interventions to ill or injured pediatric patients during transport
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, medication administration, and other pertinent medical information
- Work collaboratively with the transport team and hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care during transport
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Perform daily equipment checks to ensure all medical equipment is in proper working order
- Ensure a safe working environment for patients and team members
- At least 2 years of experience as a medical technician or medical laboratory technician
- Excellent analysis, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Valid State or National EMT certification
- Current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to patient care and safety
$25 - $29.74 hourly
