Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of our store, ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. Your attention to detail and friendly demeanor will make our store the go-to spot for convenience.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and offering assistance to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
- Keep our shelves stocked, displays appealing, and store clean, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Upsell and suggest products to customers, enhancing their shopping journey and contributing to our sales goals.
- Champion our brand by encouraging customers to join our loyalty rewards program, highlighting exclusive benefits and personalized offers.
- Efficiently manage the cash register, handle transactions with a smile, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations, lending a hand wherever needed.
- Take pride in maintaining a clean and inviting store, including cleaning restrooms, emptying trash bins, and refilling window washing stations.
- Actively participate in keeping our outdoor space clean and welcoming, contributing to a positive environmental impact and a great customer experience.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older (21 in certain states) and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays, embracing the full rhythm of retail.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
- Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to a criminal history background check.
- Personable and positive, with a friendly demeanor and knack for making people feel welcome.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on the little things that make a big difference in a customer's experience.
- Reliable and responsible, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to take on a variety of tasks in our fast-paced environment.
