Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OR Charge Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of intraoperative patients.
  • Assist surgeons in operative procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians and provide leadership to the nursing team during designated shifts.
Requirements
  • Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or compact licensure.
  • Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
