As a key member of our Enterprise Comm's & Mar-Tech Experiences (ECMX) team, you will be responsible for growing the American Express brand and creating products that support segmentation, targeting, and eligibility domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the product roadmap for our CDP, working closely with cross-functional teams to ideate and launch new functionalities and feature enhancements.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and document needs, and strategize a scalable CDP implementation tailored to AXP needs.
  • Translate marketing team requirements into product/process designs and define end-to-end workflows for marketing platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and Info Security teams to ensure data governance and security policies are in place.
  • Create and own the product backlog, conduct sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives with engineering and product teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of product management experience in onboarding, integrating, and scaling MarTech tools.
  • In-depth experience with Customer Data Platforms, such as Adobe CDP, Salesforce Data Cloud, mParticle, and Segment.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in data management, including data mapping, governance, schema creation, and customer data modeling.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail, handling, and prioritizing multiple priorities, managing tight timelines.
  • Experience in Agile software development processes, such as Scrum, and SAFe training and certification a plus.

Approach:

  • You are solution-oriented, results-driven, and show up with passion and enthusiasm. You are comfortable working in an innovative and fast-paced environment – you are a self-starter, organized, appreciate the details, and hold yourself accountable for delivery.
  • You have excellent business and technical communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire to drive disciplined collaboration and alignment – you know how to get the best from large, cross-functional teams.
  • You make sound decisions, even in the absence of complete information. You rely on a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment when making decisions using appropriate decision-making criteria and principles.
  • You are curious with an enterprise mindset – you connect the dots, and you ask impactful questions. You are not consensus-driven; you thoughtfully, respectfully, and confidently challenge ideas you disagree with.
  • You care about your users. You strive to build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations while balancing product and engineering best practices.
  • You care about your team. You create opportunities for your team to lead and grow through a focus on feedback, development, and accountability. You value and contribute to team culture and foster a sense of belonging.
