Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Upkeep: Conduct regular maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other hotel apparatus to guarantee efficient operation.
  • Repair Duties: Identify and rectify issues with malfunctioning equipment or systems, including heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.
  • Preventive Measures: Establish preventive maintenance protocols to minimize breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan through routine inspections and servicing.
  • Safety Standards: Ensure all maintenance tasks adhere to safety regulations and standards, promptly addressing any identified hazards.
  • Emergency Maintenance: Swiftly respond to urgent maintenance requests, tackling issues such as power failures, leaks, or other critical situations.
  • Documentation: Keep precise records of all maintenance and repair work, including details of tasks performed, parts utilized, and other pertinent information.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside other hotel departments to understand their maintenance requirements and resolve any issues affecting guest satisfaction.
  • Staff Training: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, providing training to team members on fundamental maintenance practices.
  • Guest Experience: Uphold high standards of cleanliness and functionality in guest rooms and common areas to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Technical training in maintenance or a related discipline, with relevant experience in hotel maintenance.
  • Experience in drywall repair and maintenance is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in painting is also highly preferred.
  • Availability to work flexible hours.
  • Background in customer service.
