Role Overview:The Collections Analyst is accountable for aiding in the retrieval, oversight, and resolution of overdue invoices from accounts associated with global parent company agency operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate the collection of agency receivables in collaboration with the offshore team.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of reporting tools to support Accounts Receivable Management in evaluating overall collections performance.
- Analyze outstanding reports to identify problematic accounts and areas requiring attention.
- Collaborate with reconciliation and cashier teams to enhance collection efforts.
- Monitor and resolve complex collection issues effectively.
- Act as a liaison among the sales team, collections team, and customers to formulate strategies for payment resolution of escalated accounts.
- Generate critical reports for customers, sales teams, and management regarding past-due accounts.
- Manage collection activities for challenging or high-profile accounts.
- Share vital collection information with team members and management.
- Evaluate collections processes to identify inefficiencies and potential improvements.
- Undertake additional special projects and reporting as required.
- Proficient in data evaluation, analysis, and problem-solving.
- Dependable and responsive with excellent follow-through.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and competent in other Microsoft Office and G-Suite applications.
- Direct and effective communication with both external and internal customers and the collections team.
- General understanding of container industry receivables is preferred.
Minimum Experience: 3+ years in a relevant function.
Minimum Education: Associate degree preferred.
