Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Redwood Empire Addiction Program (REAP), an outpatient substance abuse treatment clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, working closely with our team to provide high-quality care to patients struggling with substance use disorder.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication inventory and patient documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to coordinate patient care.
  • Assist with intake and orientation processes for new patients.
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, including vital sign collection and medical history documentation.
  • Conduct urine drug screens and rapid tests.
  • Provide education and support to patients on medication adherence and side effects.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
  • Adhere to confidentiality (CFR 42-2) and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Deputy Medical Director and Program Director.

Qualifications and Requirements
