About the Role

The Department of the Treasury is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investigator to join our team. As an Investigator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our operations and upholding the highest standards of ethics and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into allegations of misconduct, fraud, and other irregularities.
  • Collect and analyze evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare detailed reports of findings.
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and stakeholders to share intelligence and best practices.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and detect misconduct, and to promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on investigative techniques and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law enforcement, criminology, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in investigative work, preferably in a government or regulatory agency.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and the public.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
