This is a supervisory position in the Office of the Chief Counsel, Defense Logistics Agency-Aviation, Richmond, VA.
Job Summary:The Supervisory Attorney-Advisor position is responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the Chief Counsel and Deputy Chief Counsel on complex and unusual legal issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide legal advice and guidance to the Chief Counsel and Deputy Chief Counsel on complex and unusual legal issues.
- Lead and manage a team of attorneys and support staff to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of legal services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of legal services.
- Provide training and guidance to attorneys and support staff on legal issues and procedures.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed to practice law in a state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States.
- Must have at least 3 years of professional legal experience.
- Must have experience in leading and managing a team of attorneys and support staff.
This position is located in Richmond, VA and requires a Secret security clearance.

Selection(s) will be based on the judgment of the selecting official as to which applicant is best qualified to perform the duties of the position.
