Job Title: Supervisory Attorney-Advisor

This is a supervisory position in the Office of the Chief Counsel, Defense Logistics Agency-Aviation, Richmond, VA.

Job Summary:

The Supervisory Attorney-Advisor position is responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the Chief Counsel and Deputy Chief Counsel on complex and unusual legal issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to the Chief Counsel and Deputy Chief Counsel on complex and unusual legal issues.
  • Lead and manage a team of attorneys and support staff to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of legal services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of legal services.
  • Provide training and guidance to attorneys and support staff on legal issues and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in a state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States.
  • Must have at least 3 years of professional legal experience.
  • Must have experience in leading and managing a team of attorneys and support staff.
Working Conditions:

This position is located in Richmond, VA and requires a Secret security clearance.
