Position Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon to join our dynamic team at the University of Utah. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in building an academic practice and contributing to the development of focused clinical, research and educational programs in musculoskeletal disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional clinical care to patients with foot and ankle disorders
  • Contribute to the development of clinical outcomes research and/or basic science research
  • Prioritize education and mentorship of fellows, residents, medical students, and other health care training programs
  • Develop and implement focused clinical, research and educational programs in musculoskeletal disorders
  • Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at national meetings

Requirements

  • Completion of a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery and a one-year advanced fellowship training in operative foot and ankle medicine
  • Board certification or board eligibility
  • Demonstrated exceptional academic interest and a clear track record of excellence in all aspects of orthopaedics
