What We're Looking ForWe're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Podiatric Physician to join our team in Lake City, FL. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care and achieve exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with lower extremity complaints, including comprehensive examinations and development of personalized treatment plans.
- Provide expert care for podiatric patients, including at-risk foot care, painful foot and ankle conditions, trauma, wound care, and surgical management when necessary.
- Administer advice and instructions on foot care, educate patients and families on general wellness, medication usage, and prevention.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation, consistent with state regulations and Upperline Health standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development, as required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine.
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree with active licensure and certification.
- Strong compassion for patients and their families, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- DEA registration or eligibility, with CPR certification and adherence to state Board of Podiatric Medicine requirements.
