Job Description

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly skilled Principal Product Manager to join our Product Management Team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of cybersecurity.

About the Role

We are looking for a strategic thinker who can analyze our SASE product portfolio and the broader SASE market to develop product roadmaps that drive innovation and deliver unique security outcomes for our customers. You will work closely with product and cross-functional leaders to define where we want to go and how we get there.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of our markets, products, and operations to inform our future direction
  • Work collaboratively with product and cross-functional leaders to define product strategy initiatives
  • Support business analysis to identify opportunities and inform decisions
  • Bring clarity of thought to effectively structure, communicate, and ensure alignment on our strategies and plans
  • Serve as an advisor to the product leadership team to ensure progress in critical areas

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience with at least 2 years in product management, management consulting, or strategy roles in technology
  • Advanced degree from a top-tier engineering school or business school or similar academic credentials
  • Deep technical expertise enabling product- and feature-level debate with product leaders
  • Excellent clarity and critical thinking skills, supported by a robust analytical skillset
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills to influence and communicate with all levels of management
  • Experience partnering with leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver results
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex strategic initiatives
  • High-energy self-starter that thrives in fast-paced environments

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $166,000/yr to $268,500/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
