Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at SLP Operations, LLC, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse and Director of Nursing, you will perform direct resident care duties within the scope of your professional certification and assist in maintaining a positive, physical, and psychosocial environment for the residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Residents with Daily Living Activities: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and changing bed linens.
  • Support Resident Activity Programs: Assist with resident activity programs, promoting socialization and engagement.
  • Prepare Residents for Meals and Snacks: Prepare residents for meals and snacks, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Record Food Intake and Monitor Resident Condition: Record food intake and monitor resident condition, reporting any changes to the Charge Nurse.
  • Follow Safety and Sanitation Protocols: Follow safety and sanitation rules, promptly reporting any injuries or violations to the supervisor.
  • Understand and Comply with Regulations: Understand, comply with, and promote all regulations and policies regarding resident rights.
  • Assist with Admission, Transfer, and Discharge: Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Promote Positive Relationships: Promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and government regulators, presenting a professional appearance and attitude.
Requirements:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing with the State, with preferably one year of experience with the company.
  • High School Diploma: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Must relate positively to residents, family members, employees, nursing, and facility management.
  • Physical and Sensory Requirements: Must meet all local health regulations and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
