Primary Responsibilities:
The Certified Nurse Aide is responsible for delivering essential daily nursing care and services to residents in alignment with their assessments and care plans.
Key Duties:
1. Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility.
2. Execute tasks in accordance with established resident care policies and procedures.
3. Measure and document vital signs as directed by the Charge Nurse.
4. Identify and report potential hazards or incidents that may lead to resident injuries.
5. Contribute insights regarding residents' conditions to enhance care plans.
6. Observe and communicate any changes in residents' health status to the Charge Nurse.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Licensing:
Must possess a valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.
Experience:
Prior experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to effectively perform the essential functions of this role.
