Sodexo is in search of an Accountant to join the Segment Support at Schools Department within the Financial Shared Services office. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client contractual documents and manage master data and financial terms in SAP.
  • Support ongoing business operations, including cost center master data, client operating statements, billing, and fiscal closing.
  • Apply sound accounting principles and judgment to contractual agreements while adhering to company policies.
  • Ensure the accuracy of assigned balance sheet accounts, including preparing reconciliations and analyses.
  • Collaborate with operations and finance teams to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Identify and provide training for accountants on company policies, procedures, and effective communication techniques.
  • Lead projects with oversight, mentoring others in technical development.
  • Maintain company databases and leverage technical skills for comprehensive global analysis.
  • Proactively address potential issues by anticipating operational and client needs.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements for greater efficiency.

Candidate Profile:

  • Possess accounting experience; an accounting degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently while managing organizational tasks.
  • Exhibit the capability to maintain core responsibilities while engaging in other departmental initiatives.
  • Show strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience with SAP.
