Job Summary:

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to provide high-quality medical services in correctional facilities across North Carolina. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, working closely with healthcare professionals, and upholding the highest standards of medical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical assessments, diagnose, and treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account patient medical history and current health status.
  • Prescribe medications and administer vaccinations as necessary, adhering to established medical protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care, referring complex cases to medical directors as needed.
  • Manage chronic health conditions, providing ongoing support and guidance to patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, best practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and standards.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in North Carolina.
  • DEA certification and BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification and NP/PA Certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
