Environmental Quality Management, Inc. is seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing physical labor on job sites, moving soil, and working closely with our crews to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Soil Movement and Handling: Perform physical labor on job sites, moving soil and other materials as needed.
- Site Preparation: Dig around foundations, sidewalks, bushes, and trees to prepare sites for construction.
- Material Transport: Load and move wheelbarrows of material up to 300 feet, install sod, and remove and replace plants and flowers.
- Teamwork: Work closely with 4-5 person crews as a team member to achieve project goals.
- Weather Conditions: Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
- Personal Safety: Wear provided personal safety equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Certifications: Hold a valid OSHA 10-hour Construction certificate and a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certificate, with an 8-hour refresher if required.
Requirements:
- OSHA Certifications: Possess a valid OSHA 10-hour Construction certificate and a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certificate, with an 8-hour refresher if required.
- Physical Ability: Be capable of performing physical manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials.
