Job Overview

Liqui-Grow is seeking a skilled Agricultural Specialist to join our team of applicators. As a key member of our team, you will work with the latest agriculture technology to provide growers with exceptional service, saving time and increasing efficiency in their fields.

This role involves the application of chemical and fertilizer to fields from spring to fall. During the spring season, the workload will be high, and weekends may be required. Additionally, you will be responsible for field scouting and meeting with customers/prospects when application work is not scheduled.

  • Average Hourly Potential: $25 to $30 an hour, based on experience and overtime hours

Responsibilities
  • Participate in all training activities to gain knowledge of products and their benefits to farmers
  • Undertake Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) training with the goal of passing the CCA test within two years and obtaining certification
  • Develop a comprehensive prospect and current customer list, including farmers' needs and wants, with a schedule for completing adequate calls
  • Take soil samples and conduct necessary scouting of customer fields to develop proper recommendations for fertilizer and pesticide applications
  • Assist farmers by applying purchased fertilizer and pesticides in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure application equipment has necessary safety equipment and is utilized at all times
  • Keep manager and team informed of all operations
  • Assist in collection of past due accounts
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with Tanker (N) endorsement
  • Applicator License
