Job Title: Associate Business Manager

MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Business Manager to support the Space Systems and Technology Division. The successful candidate will provide administrative and business support to the division, including financial analysis, procurement, and personnel management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Utilize templates and tools to report program expenditures and activities, prepare program-level financial reports for government sponsors, and research requests and generate financial reports using our data warehouse.
  • Procurement: Facilitate and monitor purchasing from beginning to end, reach out to external vendors as needed, manage open commitments by working with support staff to identify and close as needed, and ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner.
  • Personnel Management: Review and approve time sheets for hourly employees, assist with the monthly employee time allocation process, and assist with inventory tracking in our internal property tracking system.
  • Facilities: Coordinate group personnel and property movements within the laboratory.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, with 3-5 years applicable experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to present ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
