We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing and Wellness to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and clinical expertise to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Clinical Expertise: Provide clinical leadership and expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents, including the development and implementation of care plans and the supervision of nursing staff.
- Medication Management: Oversee the medication management program to ensure resident safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including those related to infection control and risk management.
- Financial Management: Manage the department budget and ensure financial sustainability.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years RN experience, with at least one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
- Certifications: Certified in CPR and First Aid.
- Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of applied nursing practices, techniques, and methods in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Ability to delegate assignments to the appropriate individuals based on their demonstrated skill capability and in compliance with all regulations.
