About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Account Manager to join our team at National Financial Partners. As an Insurance Account Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with our advisors and account executives to service client accounts and develop strong relationships with clients and carrier contacts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client accounts and develop relationships with clients and carrier contacts
  • Prepare and send requests for proposals to applicable insurance carriers and analyze results
  • Participate in the renewal presentation and review proposals and carrier source documents for accuracy
  • Communicate directly with clients and carriers, with approval from the account executive or advisor/client executive
  • Maintain client files and policy records in accordance with office procedures
  • Answer billing questions from clients and insurance company personnel
Requirements
  • Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-confident in making sound independent decisions
  • Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people and function well in a team environment and autonomously
  • Ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous, and professional manner
  • Customer-focused to establish and maintain effective relationships
  • Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to read, analyze, and reconcile financial reports
