Job Title: Government Affairs Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Government Affairs Operations Manager to provide operational, project-based, and process-driven support to our Senior Vice President of Government Affairs. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of meticulous project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day workflow for the SVP, including scheduling, travel management, contact management, and preparing materials for meetings.
  • Manage operations for the Washington DC office, including site management, office operations, asset management, safety programs, ordering of office supplies, note taking, invoicing, budgeting, reception, and guest hoteling.
  • Plan and execute several large-scale meetings throughout the year, including securing conference space, catering, entertainment, managing registration information, agenda development, collation of meeting materials, and other meeting planning activities.
  • Support the team in developing and sending communications, maintaining member communication database, hosting webinars, and other support for communication vehicles.
  • Contribute to the SVP's ability to meet executive team and board expectations on deliverables.
  • Help operationally guide the team on best practices, documented processes, and quarterly deliverables.
  • Assist with special projects, including executive team deliverables, highly confidential board and stakeholder deliverables, and management of process and timeline related to helping the SVP hold team members accountable to goals.
Requirements:
  • 5 or more years of applicable experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required).
  • Preferred qualifications include executive administration, project management, confidentiality, and experience with facilities coordination and office management.

Benefits:

Premier, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $64,000 - $118,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The company also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k retirement program, paid time off, and participation in employee incentive plans.
