    • Manage manpower loading of the mechanical team.
    • Assign projects to team members based on loading and skill level.
Requirements
  • 9+ years of progressive engineering experience in mechanical engineering design, analysis, and project leadership.
  • Proficient with SolidWorks and PDM.
  • Ability to read and interpret 3rd party drawings and documents for completeness.
  • Strong project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient with engineering calculations to support design work, including structural, thermal, and electrical loads.
  • Knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of FEA, Modal analysis, and Fatigue analysis.
  • PE license.
Work Environment
  • Ability to maintain a fast pace while completing complex work in potentially stressful situations with competing priorities within tight timelines and with frequent interruptions.
  • The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional office setting.
  • Extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer.
  • Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to travel periodically to other KORE locations and for training, as well as occasional travel to customer project sites during system installation and commissioning phases.
