Senior Ambulatory Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ambulatory Care Nurse to join our team at the Helen L. & Martin S. Kimmel Hyperbaric and Advanced Wound Healing Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, education, and support to patients with complex wound care needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Deliver patient education and support to promote healthy adjustment to new or changed health patterns.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Coordinate clinical schedules, oversee coverage for procedures, and ensure timely and effective patient care.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (highly preferred) or Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing with a minimum of one year experience and plans to earn a baccalaureate degree.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State.
- BCLS and ACLS certification.
- Emergency room or critical care nursing experience and membership in pertinent professional organizations (preferred).
- ACLS certification.
