Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Lead and mentor nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ambulatory care nursing, with a focus on GI services.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Advanced certification in a relevant specialty, such as GI nursing.
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
