Senior Ambulatory Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ambulatory Care Nurse to join our team in the GI Department at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading nursing staff, and collaborating with healthcare providers to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Lead and mentor nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ambulatory care nursing, with a focus on GI services.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Advanced certification in a relevant specialty, such as GI nursing.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
