Senior Ambulatory Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ambulatory Care Nurse to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, education, and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive patient-centered care plans.
- Conduct patient education and health promotion activities to empower patients and families to manage their health.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and professional development.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (BSN) or Diploma in Nursing with plans to earn a BSN within 2 years.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse (RPN) licensure in New York State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- 3 years of experience in ambulatory care nursing, with a focus on patient education and health promotion.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field.
- Emergency room or critical care nursing experience.
- Membership in pertinent professional organizations.
